Co-curricular activities: All the departments have
their associations through which they conduct periodical technical
seminars, symposiums, guest lectures by experts for up-gradation
of technical knowledge of our students and faculties.
Also student chapters of professional societies like CSI,
IEEE, ISTE, ISOI and SAE etc., are inaugurated for learning
the developments of technical trends in the field of engineering
and technology.
Industrial visits are organized for the hands on training
with the industry for our students three times per semester.
Also an educational cum technical tour is arranged in the
pre final semester for their studies.

Technical:
1) S. Kanakaraj, IV Year ECE Student has got best student
award for the year 2005 from ISTE at punjab and bronze medals
by National Research Forum, Bangalore.
2) The following papers presented by students were selected
in International Conference held at Hyderabad

Year EIE has bagged the 3rd Prize.
4) Paper in the area of Telemedicine by Mr. Neeraj Harikrishnan,
final ECE student has been selected for presentation in the
International conference in Sanfrancisco, USA.
5) R. Deepan, 3rd EIE has secured first position in the main
quiz event as a part of Mechanica 2006 conducted by IIT-Madras
and also won Rs.10,000/- as cash prize.
Sports Achievements:
Our student S. SRINIVASAN, IV EIE, has been selected in Tamilnadu
interstate Volleyball Paralympic team. He has also won the
overall individual Championship in Paralympic Sports meet
conducted by Anna University Sports Board. We are indeed proud
to point out that he has won 8 Gold and Bronze medals.
Our Students participated in the Anna University Zonal level
tournament, and following are the achievements.
Our Women's athletic team won the Overall Championship. Anitha
G of III ECE and Neelima of III EEE bagged the individual
Championship and 4 Gold Medals each.
Our Men's volleyball team won the runner up.
Our Men's Hockey team and our Men's Ball Badminton team won
the third place.
